Context

As a committed player in the energy transition and convinced that innovation is an important driver of economic activity and employment in the region, the EDF Group is developing and running several programs to encourage the emergence of innovative projects in Occitania.

Problem

How to support EDF employees with innovative and sustainable ideas, in an intrapreneurial approach, with a focus on the end-user, to accelerate projects, and to move from intention to action!

Our mission

Designing a support structure that combines collective intelligence, to take advantage of the diversity of the EDF group's skills and expertise, and to accelerate complex projects, and Design thinking, to develop solutions centered on users' needs.

Animate this program with the teams of the Regional Action Department of EDF in Occitania, to identify project leaders, train multidisciplinary teams and adapt the program and the tools to the specific issues of each project.

Coach the project teams throughout the workshops. Form a community, create a group dynamic, empower the teams and make them grow throughout the project (plan several times of cohesion, inspiration, ideation, alignment, prototyping, testing and experimentation, production, formalization, mediation...).

What has changed for EDF Occitania

An exciting and engaging human adventure, materialized by the creation of an Alumni community (4 seasons, over 50 people directly involved).

Participants are made aware of new methods and tools, experienced throughout the acceleration of their projects, as well as the development of the "creative" potential of employees.

Develop the link with the region's innovation ecosystems by soliciting them during the program.

Sustainable value-creating projects resulting from the program: new offers marketed in the Southwest and nationally, new projects for decarbonization and ecological transition.
